Day 214 Readings
Bible Study Together:
Numbers 31:25-54
54 And Moses and Eleazar the priest received the gold from the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the tabernacle of meeting as a memorial for the children of Israel before the Lord.
Matthew 15:1-20
10 When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear and understand: 11 Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”
16 So Jesus said, “Are you also still without understanding? 17 Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? 18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. 20 These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”
365 Daily Kingdom Living:
2 Chronicles 32
7 “Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for there are more with us than with him. 8 With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people were strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
20 Now because of this King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah, the son of Amoz, prayed and cried out to heaven. 21 Then the Lord sent an angel who cut down every mighty man of valor, leader, and captain in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned shamefaced to his own land. And when he had gone into the temple of his god, some of his own offspring struck him down with the sword there.
22 Thus the Lord saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all others, and [f]guided them on every side. 23 And many brought gifts to the Lord at Jerusalem, and presents[g] to Hezekiah king of Judah, so that he was exalted in the sight of all nations thereafter.
Hezekiah Humbles Himself
24 In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death, and he prayed to the Lord; and He spoke to him and gave him a sign. 25 But Hezekiah did not repay according to the favor shown him, for his heart was lifted up; therefore wrath was looming over him and over Judah and Jerusalem. 26 Then Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the Lord did not come upon them in the days of Hezekiah.
27 Hezekiah had very great riches and honor. And he made himself treasuries for silver, for gold, for precious stones, for spices, for shields, and for all kinds of desirable items; 28 storehouses for the harvest of grain, wine, and oil; and stalls for all kinds of livestock, and [h]folds for flocks. 29 Moreover he provided cities for himself, and possessions of flocks and herds in abundance; for God had given him very much property. 30 This same Hezekiah also stopped the water outlet of Upper Gihon, and [i]brought the water by tunnel to the west side of the City of David. Hezekiah prospered in all his works.
31 However, regarding the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, whom they sent to him to inquire about the wonder that was done in the land, God withdrew from him, in order to test him, that He might know all that was in his heart.
2 Chronicles 33
10 And the Lord spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they would not [d]listen. 11 Therefore the Lord brought upon them the captains of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh with [e]hooks, bound him with [f]bronze fetters, and carried him off to Babylon. 12 Now when he was in affliction, he implored the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, 13 and prayed to Him; and He received his entreaty, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.
14 After this he built a wall outside the City of David on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, as far as the entrance of the Fish Gate; and it enclosed Ophel, and he raised it to a very great height. Then he put military captains in all the fortified cities of Judah. 15 He took away the foreign gods and the idol from the house of the Lord, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the Lord and in Jerusalem; and he cast them out of the city. 16 He also repaired the altar of the Lord, sacrificed peace offerings and thank offerings on it, and commanded Judah to serve the Lord God of Israel. 17 Nevertheless the people still sacrificed on the [g]high places, but only to the Lord their God.
Romans 15:23-33
25 But now I am going to Jerusalem to [b]minister to the saints. 26 For it pleased those from Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are in Jerusalem. 27 It pleased them indeed, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in material things. 28 Therefore, when I have performed this and have sealed to them this fruit, I shall go by way of you to Spain. 29 But I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing [c]of the gospel of Christ.
30 Now I beg you, brethren, through the Lord Jesus Christ, and through the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in prayers to God for me, 31 that I may be delivered from those in Judea who [d]do not believe, and that my service for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints, 32 that I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may be refreshed together with you. 33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
Psalm 25:16-22
16 Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me,For I am [e]desolate and afflicted.17 The troubles of my heart have enlarged;Bring me out of my distresses!18 Look on my affliction and my pain,And forgive all my sins.19 Consider my enemies, for they are many; And they hate me with [f]cruel hatred.20 Keep my soul, and deliver me;Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You.21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me,For I wait for You.
22 Redeem Israel, O God,Out of all their troubles!'
Proverbs 20:16-18
Dear AVI,
Great are YOU O GOD King of Heaven and Earth and all the Universe with an everlasting and unfailing love for me and all YOUR creation!!! Toda for reviving me on the day of Love Tu B Av, starting last night being with Gaw Elisheva, and YOUR Presence with us brought so much joy and hope and peace to me. Toda AVI because YOU have plans for us not to be stuck but to journey together in our life of faith. I thought our journey has ended but now once again YOU have reconnected us and I am so excited! Toda Raba AVI!!! Great are YOU O LORD GOD Almighty!!! Toda for YOUR greatness and goodness!!! Toda for YOUR mercy and grace and love O GOD, I thought YOU have forgotten me. Please do not withdraw YOUR Presece from me, do not test me because YOU know I will fail because I am weak but keep me pure and holy and blameless because that is what YOU have promised me. I am no longer bound to my weak heart of seeking after a husband to love me especially if YOU say I am marrying soemone like Jay, Inside my honest answer would be "Never mind I will stay single if that is the case!" But LORD I am not disobedient and I am YOUR servant and so my response should be "Yes Lord be it unto me according to YOUR WORD" but I know it will take time so make him a man of faith and I will go away from him for now so that when I return he should be ready but actually I do not want to marry him seeing him now and how broken he is and it is not my job to fix him. But Pastor Jonah, Ma Elsie and Gaw Elisheba are open to it, when I am not. We are even more surprised that Mom is even open to the thought of it. But I am really not, my mind and heart is closed after all that he has done. Really AVI forgive me if my faith is not big enough to believe he can be the best for me because I already expected the best guy when I meet the guy. Sure YOU gave me word regarding him before okay but if he doesn't receive and obey, I cannot move forward with it. Thinking about talking to him, makes me feel the anger I have with him, I believe we need to talk this Saturday, because I see myself talking to him. But I ask that YOU will be there... I ask YOU to help us work things out together as professionals who will serve YOU in JESUS Reigns. Please AVI, have mercy on me and on Jay who needs YOU to heal him. Please take care of Mosab Hassan Yousef and heal all his trauma and pain, and answer the prayers of his heart to save all his family O GOD! But I need to face what I need to face this Saturday working with Jay and the dancers of our church. So please AVI I pray that YOU will settle us before we even work together, settle all unresolved issues and help us to talk about it so that we can move past it. I pray that YOUR grace will carry us through O GOD. I do not want to be forceful I want YOU to make things right for the both of us. Please AVI, let YOUR will be done, settle Jay and I and our past unresolved issues. Please settle all our unresolved issues so that I can move forward with my life. Toda Raba for hearing me and healing my heart. Heal my heart O GOD. I do not want to focus all my energies on my talk with Jay so please restore my vision and sight to focus on YOU and what YOU are about to do for me and Arlene I am so excited to travel together with her. Please AVI, take care of my family and our business and I will follow YOU wherever YOU take me. Ikaw na bahala nila LORD. Just don't leave me but take me where YOU are going because I need YOUR Presence so much in my life. Without YOU I am dead, I have no life. It's better to die than to live without YOUR Presence in my life. Come LORD JESUS and reign as our KING!
Ba HaShem YESHUA HaMashiach Amen!
