Leviticus 16
29 “This shall be a statute forever for you: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall [g]afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether a native of your own country or a stranger who [h]dwells among you. 30 For on that day the priest shall make [i]atonement for you, to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before the Lord. 31 It is a sabbath of solemn rest for you, and you shall afflict your souls. It is a statute forever. 32 And the priest, who is anointed and consecrated to minister as priest in his father’s place, shall make atonement, and put on the linen clothes, the holy garments; 33 then he shall make [j]atonement for [k]the Holy Sanctuary, and he shall make atonement for the tabernacle of meeting and for the altar, and he shall make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly. 34 This shall be an everlasting statute for you, to make atonement for the children of Israel, for all their sins, once a year.” And he did as the Lord commanded Moses.
Isaiah 57
Healing for the Backslider
14 And one shall say,“Heap it up! Heap it up!Prepare the way,Take the stumbling block out of the way of My people.”
15 For thus says the High and Lofty OneWho inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:“I dwell in the high and holy place,With him who has a contrite and humble spirit,To revive the spirit of the humble,And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.16 For I will not contend forever,Nor will I always be angry; For the spirit would fail before Me,And the souls which I have made.17 For the iniquity of his covetousnessI was angry and struck him;I hid and was angry,And he went on [e]backsliding in the way of his heart.18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him;I will also lead him,And restore comforts to himAnd to his mourners.
19 “I create the fruit of the lips:Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near,”Says the Lord,“And I will heal him.”20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea,When it cannot rest,Whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
21 “There is no peace,”Says my God, “for the wicked.”
Isaiah 58
New King James Version
Fasting that Pleases God
1 “Cry aloud, [a]spare not;Lift up your voice like a trumpet;Tell My people their transgression,And the house of Jacob their sins.
2 Yet they seek Me daily,And delight to know My ways,As a nation that did righteousness,And did not forsake the ordinance of their God.They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God.
3 ‘Why have we fasted,’ they say, ‘and You have not seen? Why have we afflicted our souls, and You take no notice?’ “In fact, in the day of your fast you find pleasure, And [b]exploit all your laborers.
4 Indeed you fast for strife and debate,And to strike with the fist of wickedness. You will not fast as you do this day, To make your voice heard on high. 5 Is it a fast that I have chosen, A day for a man to afflict his soul? Is it to bow down his head like a bulrush,And to spread out sackcloth and ashes?Would you call this a fast,And an acceptable day to the Lord?
6 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen:To loose the bonds of wickedness,To undo the [c]heavy burdens,To let the oppressed go free,And that you break every yoke? 7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,And that you bring to your house the poor who are [d]cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him,And not hide yourself from your own flesh? 8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning,Your healing shall spring forth speedily,And your righteousness shall go before you;The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’
“If you take away the yoke from your midst,The [e]pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,10 If you extend your soul to the hungryAnd satisfy the afflicted soul,Then your light shall dawn in the darkness,And your [f]darkness shall be as the noonday.11 The Lord will guide you continually,And satisfy your soul in drought,And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden,And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.12 Those from among youShall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,The Restorer of [g]Streets to Dwell In.
13 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,From doing your pleasure on My holy day,And call the Sabbath a delight,The holy day of the Lord honorable,And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,Nor finding your own pleasure,Nor speaking your own words,14 Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord; And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. The mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
Micah 7
18 Who is a God like You,Pardoning iniquityAnd passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage?
He does not retain His anger forever,Because He delights in mercy.[j]19 He will again have compassion on us,And will subdue our iniquities.
You will cast all [k]our sinsInto the depths of the sea.20 You will give truth to JacobAnd [l]mercy to Abraham,Which You have sworn to our fathersFrom days of old.
Leviticus 18
24 ‘Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. 25 For the land is defiled; therefore I visit[c] the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants. 26 You shall therefore [d]keep My statutes and My judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations, either any of your own nation or any stranger who dwells among you 27 (for all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and thus the land is defiled), 28 lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you. 29 For whoever commits any of these abominations, the persons who commit them shall be [e]cut off from among their people.
30 ‘Therefore you shall keep My [f]ordinance, so that you do not commit any of these abominable customs which were committed before you, and that you do not defile yourselves by them: I am the Lord your God.’ ”

Amplified Bible
8 Of Levi he said,
“Your [a]Thummim and Your Urim belong to Your godly man [Aaron],Whom You tested and proved at Massah,With whom You contended at the waters of Meribah;9 Who [b]said of his father and mother,‘I did not consider them’;Nor did he acknowledge his brothers,Nor did he regard his own sons,For the priests observed Your word,And kept Your covenant.10 “The priests shall teach Your ordinances (judgments) to Jacob,And Your law to Israel. They shall put incense [c]before You,And whole burnt offerings on Your altar.11 “O Lord, bless Levi’s substance (ability),And accept and take pleasure in the work of his hands;Crush and shatter the loins of those who rise up against him,And of those who hate him, so that they do not rise again.”
12 Of Benjamin he said,
“May the beloved of the Lord [d]dwell in safety by Him;He shields and covers him all the day long,And he dwells between His shoulders.”

Joshua 10:28-43
Joshua 11:1-23
6 Yet the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid because of them, for tomorrow at this time I am going to turn all of them over to Israel as good as dead; you shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.” 7 So Joshua and all the people of war with him came upon them suddenly at the waters of Merom, and attacked them. 8 And the Lord handed them over to Israel, so that they [n]defeated them, and pursued them as far as Great Sidon, and Misrephoth-maim, and the Valley of Mizpeh to the east; and they struck them until no survivor was left to them. 9 And Joshua did to them just as the Lord had told him; he hamstrung their horses and burned their chariots with fire.

The Body … Alive!
The church could be compared to many objects or illustrations, but God has chosen to use the metaphor of a body. Have you ever wondered why? If you don’t notice and take care of even something as small as a damaged tooth, what will happen? If the nerve connections between your brain and your hand are momentarily broken, what happens? Just as each part of the body is important and must be lovingly cared for, so too for the church – you and your brothers and sisters in Christ – are part of an even more invaluable whole!
Prayer: Lord, help me to see and meet my responsibility to other members of the body of Christ – in love. Don’t let me confuse gossip with concern. As we grow closer together may we also grow closer to you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Scripture
Isaiah 46
8 “Remember this, and be [i]assured;Recall it to [j]mind, you wrongdoers.
9 Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning,And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My plan will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;
11 Calling a bird of prey from the east,The man of My purpose from a distant country.Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass.I have planned it, I will certainly do it.
12 “Listen to Me, you stubborn-minded,Who are far from righteousness.13 I bring near My righteousness, it is not far off;And My salvation will not delay. And I will grant salvation in Zion,And My glory for Israel.
Isaiah 47
Isaiah 48
Rescue Promised through Cyrus the LORD's Chosen Leader
12 “Listen to Me, Jacob, Israel [e]whom I called;I am He, I am the first, I am also the last.13 Assuredly My hand founded the earth,And My right hand spread out the heavens; When I call to them, they stand together.14 Assemble, all of you, and listen!Who among them has declared these things? The Lord loves him; he will carry out His good pleasure against Babylon,And His arm will be against the Chaldeans.15 I, yes I, have spoken; indeed I have called him,I have brought him, and He will make his ways successful.
16 “Come near to Me, hear this:I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord God and His Spirit[c]Have sent Me.”
17 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer,The Holy One of Israel:“I am the Lord your God,Who teaches you to profit,Who leads you by the way you should go. 18 Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.19 Your descendants also would have been like the sand,And the offspring of your body like the grains of sand; His name would not have been cut off Nor destroyed from before Me.”
20 Go forth from Babylon!Flee from the Chaldeans! With a voice of singing,Declare, proclaim this,Utter it to the end of the earth;Say, “The Lord has redeemedHis servant Jacob!” 21 And they did not thirst When He led them through the deserts; He caused the waters to flow from the rock for them;He also split the rock, and the waters gushed out.
22 “There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”
Dear ABBA,
Toda Raba for the opportunity to flee and leave Babylon, toda for telling me through YOUR WORD that after Cyrus your chosen leader will do his plan against Babylon, that is why I can flee from Babylon. Hallelujah! For YOUR promise to take me out of captivity from Babylon O GOD, Hallelujah! Toda Raba for YOUR Promised Remeption and rescue to me O GOD Toda Raba. Although Cyrus is the new Laywer, I understand today that it doesn't mean I will marry him. I will not let go of YOUR Promise to me O GOD especially when YOU spoke to my Mom about it and the Prophets whom YOU have used in my life that I will indeed marry the man born in Zion! This is giving me strength O GOD, not the revelation to marry Cyrus. This revelation is weakening me, making me feel like I am dying, but the revelation to marry the man born in Zion is what gives life to my spirit. I will not marry an unbeliever because this is not in accordance to YOUR Will. Toda O GOD that in this last watch of the day YOU are giving me strength to do what I ought to do. YOU are giving me the power and will to do what I am supposed to do to feel empowered to do YOUR Will without any hesitation. I will do as YOU Please O GOD! I will do it. Not by might, not by power but by YOUR Spirit Adonai!!! By YOUR Spirit!!!
Ba HaShem YESHUA HaMashiach, Amen!
Ephesians 4:1-16
1 Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you also were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.
7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 8 Therefore [a]it says,
“When He ascended on high,He led captive the captives,And He gave gifts to people.”
9 (Now this expression, “He ascended,” what [b]does it mean except that He also [c]had descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things.) 11 And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as [d]pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the [e]saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ; 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the [f]knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature [g]which belongs to the fullness of Christ. 14 [h]As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of people, by craftiness [i]in deceitful scheming; 15 but [j]speaking the truth in love, [k]we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together [l]by what every joint supplies, according to the [m]proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.
Psalm 68:19-35
19 Blessed be the Lord,Who daily loads us with benefits,The God of our salvation! Selah 20 Our God is the God of salvation; And to God the Lord belong escapes from death.
21 But God will wound the head of His enemies,The hairy scalp of the one who still goes on in his trespasses. 22 The Lord said, “I will bring back from Bashan,I will bring them back from the depths of the sea, 23 That [a]your foot may crush them in blood,And the tongues of your dogs may have their portion from your enemies.”
24 They have seen Your [b]procession, O God,The procession of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.25 The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after;Among them were the maidens playing timbrels.26 Bless God in the congregations,The Lord, from the fountain of Israel.27 There is little Benjamin, their leader,The princes of Judah and their [c]company,The princes of Zebulun and the princes of Naphtali.
28 [d]Your God has commanded your strength;Strengthen, O God, what You have done for us.29 Because of Your temple at Jerusalem,Kings will bring presents to You.30 Rebuke the beasts of the reeds,The herd of bulls with the calves of the peoples,Till everyone submits himself with pieces of silver.Scatter the peoples who delight in war.31 Envoys will come out of Egypt;Ethiopia will quickly stretch out her hands to God.
32 Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth;Oh, sing praises to the Lord, Selah33 To Him who rides on the heaven of heavens, which were of old!Indeed, He sends out His voice, a mighty voice.34 Ascribe strength to God;His excellence is over Israel,And His strength is in the clouds.35 O God, You are more awesome than Your holy places. The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people.
Blessed be God!
