Shabbat Shalom! (A Peaceful Rested Blessed Saturday!)

Today’s portion (Biblical reading), is called Parashat Ha’Azinu in english means Listen or Give Ear! As we cross over to a new biblical year, where GOD brings changes into our lives, new seasons of opportunity, blessing and greater good, let us give ear to HIS word and do as HE commands so as to never forget where we have come from, to keep our head bowed low in holy reverence and submission to HIS ruler ship and Lordship in our lives, so that we keep our heads from being puffed up and therefore always remember that it was GOD who has thus brought us this far!

We want to read the Bible but we don’t know how, we want to be guided by how we ought to read GOD’s word. These reading guides are taken from the different Religious Organizations that have blessed me and spoken to my Spirit as I took on a Wilderness Journey with GOD for 50 days. Although I am a person without religion because GOD has commanded me so, GOD had opened my eyes to see why religion limits me and if I just open my eyes to take the good things from these religions, then my devotion to HIM will be complete. If you don’t have time to read, just read a portion that I have provided in bold letters below. However, if you have time to devour GOD’s word, then read the entire scriptures provided below.

Torah Portion/A Reading from the 5 Books of Moses: Deuteronomy 32:1-52

44 Moses came with Joshua son of Nun and spoke all the words of this song in the hearing of the people. 45 When Moses finished reciting all these words to all Israel, 46 he said to them, “Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day, so that you may command your children to obey carefully all the words of this law. 47 They are not just idle words for you—they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

Readings from the Brit Chadashah/New Testament: 1 Timothy 6:13-16, Rom 10:14-11:12

I charge you, to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ - 1 Timothy 6:14

Haftarah/Partaking: 2 Samuel 22

2 Samuel 22:2 “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, 3 my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence. 4 I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies. A Word of Wisdom: Proverbs 19:20 Listen to counsel and accept discipline, That you may be wise the rest of your days.

Prayer of Psalms/Tehillim: Psalm 18-22

25 To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless, 26 to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the devious you show yourself shrewd. 27 You save the humble but bring low those whose eyes are haughty. 28 You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. 29 With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. Psalm 18: 25-29

THIS SECTION is for the mature believers in the faith or the servants of GOD

A Word of Warning for GOD's chosen servants who represent GOD falsely when they let their anger and frustration get the best of them

Deuteronomy 32: 51 Because you betrayed Me in the midst of the children of Israel at the waters of Merivath Kadesh, [in] the desert of Zin, [and] because you did not sanctify Me in the midst of the children of Israel.

Confessions of the Impatient Prophet:

This is what GOD told Moses when Moses and the Israelites where led by GOD in the Wilderness and when the people kept complaining of their situation in the desserts in the middle of nowhere. Moses was frustrated with them so he disobeyed the orders of GOD to speak to the rock so that waters will flow out of it, but instead he struck the rock twice because he was already so fed up with the hard headed Israelites that were always complaining against GOD. If I was Moses at that time, I would not strike the rock, I would have probably struck the people themselves! I’m just being candid about this you know, GOD knows how much patience I have in the world - zero especially for such people who think they are GOD’s favored servants when in reality they are the so called modern day Pharisees in JESUS time that are existing today. That’s why until now I wonder why GOD wants to use me in spite of my shortcomings, impatience and weaknesses when I am unworthy and unfit to be called a servant of the Great KING. When GOD tells me HE is about to judge someone, I don’t intercede for that person anymore (especially when I’ve already prayed and cried many times for that person), I just say, Okay GOD, so be it according to Your Word (imagine me saying that with a halo in my head, thinking I was an obedient Mary) which actually means Okay GOD strike ‘em dead! (led purely by my emotions not realizing the consequences of anyone's death) because I’m fed up!!! I’m not even half of who Moses was yet here I am still being directed by GOD to write the things HE is showing me and what’s in my heart. I asked GOD today, why me, why use me GOD? Someone else is more worthy! Why am I still alive today? Why let me cry and cry for the evil in this world?

As Servants of GOD whether you are a priest, deacon, pastor, prophet or a simple usherette serving in the Temple of GOD, our greatest service to GOD is to minister before HIM by praying (in tears need be) for the people that we see have turned away from GOD. This is our greatest service to GOD - ministering to HIM through our prayers and tears!

TESHUVA - The Call to Return to GOD

A Reading from the Prophets: Hosea 14:1-9

Hosea 14:1 O Israel, return to the Lord your God, For you have stumbled because of your iniquity;

The instruction of GOD to His servants: Joel 2:15-27

Joel 2:17 Tell my servants, the priests, to cry inside the temple and to offer this prayer near the altar: “Save your people, Lord God! Don’t let foreign nations make jokes about us. Don’t let them laugh and ask, ‘Where is your God?’”

The LORD will hear our cries and change their hearts, for we are sent to intercede and pray for them instead of being angry at them:

Joel 2:18 The Lord was deeply concerned about his land and had pity on his people.

Prophetic Words are words of GOD for the present situation spoken or delivered by HIS Messengers or what the Bible calls as Prophets. Yes Prophets still do exists, whether you believe it or not. I have been posting Prophetic Words from different servants of GOD through this page. I am not a religious entity, I am only a person who loves JESUS CHRIST or YESHUA HaMashiach. GOD wants me to write about HIM in a personal way after all, YESHUA was not a religion, HE is the Son of the Living GOD who became a human person. Today is my 49th Day of Journey in the Wilderness of Ormoc, I have discovered many new things of GOD in this time of resting, meditating and searching. In my Wilderness Journey in Ormoc, I did not complain, instead I fell more deeply in love with the KING of Kings and the LORD of Lords - YESHUA!!! I have been writing my Life Story in my website and will publish the days of my Wilderness journey soon when my KING directs me to. So for now, let me say Happy New Year to all of GOD’s People (JEWS and GENTILES alike!) And may this season of the New bring us to new discoveries of the Lord JESUS who we call our Savior, our Shepherd, and the soon and coming KING!

"What is the use of believing in a GOD when we do not do what HE says?"

Truthfully Yours,

Marie Christine “Yiska”
