Day 239 Readings
Torah: Ki Tavo, 1st Portion Devarim (Deuteronomy) 26:1-26:11 Parashah 50: Ki Tavo (When you come) 26:1–29:8(9)
1 “When you have come to the land Adonai your God is giving you as your inheritance, taken possession of it and settled there; 2 you are to take the firstfruits of all the crops the ground yields, which you will harvest from your land that Adonai your God is giving you, put them in a basket and go to the place where Adonai your God will choose to have his name live.
10 Therefore, as you see, I have now brought the firstfruits of the land which you, Adonai, have given me.’ You are then to put the basket down before Adonai your God, prostrate yourself before Adonai your God, 11 and take joy in all the good that Adonai your God has given you, your household, the Levi and the foreigner living with you.

Deuteronomy 12
New American Standard Bible
Laws of the Sanctuary
1 “These are the statutes and the judgments which you shall carefully [a]follow in the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess [b]as long as you live on the [c]earth. 2 You shall utterly destroy all the places where the nations whom you are going to dispossess serve their gods, on the high mountains, on the hills, and under every leafy tree.
18 But you shall eat them before the Lord your God in the place which the Lord your God will choose, you and your son and daughter, and your male and female slaves, and the Levite who is within your gates; and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God in all [l]your undertakings. 19 Be careful that you do not abandon the Levite [m]as long as you live in your land.
32 “[u]Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to nor take anything away from it.

Father And Teaching
Blessed are those who have a good father to correct and advise them. What about the fatherless? Our loving Father God speaks to us through the Bible and the wise men who love God will also bless us with their knowledge and wisdom.
Prayer: Lord, forgive me my rebellious attitude. I will listen and obey my father, teachers and seniors from now on so that I will gain wisdom and make good decisions. Thank you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

2 Corinthians 1:12-24
19 For the Son of God, the Messiah Yeshua, who was proclaimed among you through us — that is, through me and Sila and Timothy — was not a yes-and-no man; on the contrary, with him it is always “Yes!” 20 For however many promises God has made, they all find their “Yes” in connection with him; that is why it is through him that we say the “Amen” when we give glory to God. 21 Moreover, it is God who sets both us and you in firm union with the Messiah; he has anointed us, 22 put his seal on us, and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee for the future.
Psalms 41
The Psalmist in Sickness Complains of Enemies and False Friends.
For the music director. A Psalm of David.
1 Blessed is one who considers the [a]helpless; The Lord will save him on a day of [b]trouble.2 The Lord will protect him and keep him alive,And he will be called [c]blessed upon the earth; And do not turn him over to the desire of his enemies.3 The Lord will sustain him upon his sickbed; In his illness, You [d]restore him to health.
4 As for me, I said, “Lord, be gracious to me;Heal my soul, for I have sinned against You.”5 My enemies speak evil against me,“When will he die, and his name perish?”6 And [e]when he comes to see me, he speaks [f]empty words; His heart gathers wickedness to itself; When he goes outside, he tells it.7 All who hate me whisper together against me;They plot my harm against me, saying,8 “A wicked thing is poured out [g]upon him,So that when he lies down, he will not get up again.”9 Even my [h]close friend in whom I trusted,Who ate my bread,Has lifted up his heel against me.
10 But You, Lord, be gracious to me and raise me up,That I may repay them.11 By this I know that You are pleased with me,Because my enemy does not shout in triumph over me.12 As for me, You uphold me in my integrity,And You place me in Your presence forever.
13 Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel,From everlasting to everlasting.Amen and Amen.
