Day 261 Readings
Torah: Ha'azinu, 2nd Portion Devarim (Deuteronomy) 32:7-12
7 “Remember the days of old,Consider the years of many generations.Ask your father, and he will show you;Your elders, and they will tell you:8 When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations,When He separated the sons of Adam,He set the boundaries of the peoplesAccording to the number of the [a]children of Israel.9 For the Lord’s portion is His people;Jacob is the place of His inheritance.
10 “He found him in a desert landAnd in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him,He kept him as the [b]apple of His eye.11 As an eagle stirs up its nest,Hovers over its young,Spreading out its wings, taking them up,Carrying them on its wings,12 So the Lord alone led him,And there was no foreign god with him.

Psalm 114:1-8
1 When Israel went out of Egypt,The house of Jacob from a people [a]of strange language,2 Judah became His sanctuary,And Israel His dominion.
3 The sea saw it and fled;Jordan turned back.4 The mountains skipped like rams,The little hills like lambs.
5 What ails you, O sea, that you fled?O Jordan, that you turned back?6 O mountains, that you skipped like rams?O little hills, like lambs?
7 Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord,At the presence of the God of Jacob,8 Who turned the rock into a pool of water,The flint into a fountain of waters.
Joshua 5:1-15
The Commander of the Army of the Lord
13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?”
14 So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.”
And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?”
15 Then the Commander of the Lord’s army said to Joshua, “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy.” And Joshua did so.
365 Daily Kingdom Living
We Are A Son And An Heir Of God
Some Christians are wondering why their problems, sicknesses, bondages are still there after they are saved. When Jesus said in bible, “By your faith you are saved, or by your faith you are healed.” The words 'Save' and 'Heal' in Greek are the same word “Sozo”. It means that by your faith, you are saved, healed, redeemed, delivered, free from the slavery of the world, and you will be made whole. Not only this, God also gives a Spirit of sonship to us, that we can call God, Abba Father. This is our identity as his son and heir of His authority, power and promises. Let us live a life reflecting our true identity.
Prayer: Thank you Father Lord for giving me the Spirit of Your son, so that we can cry out to you, Abba Father. Forgive us when we are living a life not reflecing your powerful work and love in us. Forgive us when we have doubts of our identity in you. Help us to trust in you and believe in all power and authority you have given to us. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
